The data reaffirms that New Zealand is creating strong advocates. New Zealand has a Net Promoter Score of 76% - which is very strong. Visitors from the USA, UK, Germany and Australia are our biggest advocates – while there is an opportunity to create more advocates in the Asian markets.
Overall satisfaction is strong across all areas of the visitor experiences with natural landscapes and scenery consistently a top factor in influencing visitors to choose New Zealand, and New Zealand achieves strong satisfaction of our environment and environmental management.
However the data does highlight opportunities to improve in some areas. Cost is a common link amongst dissatisfaction with food and beverage, accommodation and transport. Increased access to free Wi-Fi may also help to drive visitor satisfaction.
