Alex Kuznestov is a contemporary conceptual artist, based in Moscow, but is better known abroad, mostly in Europe and the United Kingdom. Alex creates conceptual paintings; his style is a distinctive mixture of bright colours and interesting textures in the genre of abstraction. Alex stands out by numerous experiments with various colours and physical properties. Using précised composition in graphics and balance of colours, the artist manages to achieve a strong visual effect in the paintings, which aims to involve the viewer in a dialogue by means of colour and form.

Alex’s exhibitions enjoy a worldwide exposure and are often held in London, San Francisco, Geneva, Barcelona, Strasbourg, Moscow and in many other cities. In Moskovsky Bar, Alex will present 5 Series – a series of large canvases, created specifically for museum expositions. Research on the scale represents a composite solution indulging the viewer into an emotional experience of the author and tries to confront the reality of the diversity of noise satiated. By itself, the series was created in the period of transformation of the artist’s personality, which is saying goodbye to the past and learning the novelty of the present, to eventually return to its former state, realising the futility of the efforts of the inner self changes.

The curator of the exhibition, MSK Eastside gallery, discovers talented artists and photographers with extraordinary vision who work in various genres from painting to graffiti.

Responsible for the cocktails of this Supperclub is a famous Danish bartender of Spanish descent Spaniard Bernabeu, who alongside the team of Moskovsky Bar, will be demonstrating his take on contemporary mixology adding local twists using premium Russian vodka Beluga. Bernabeu is currently running Mash Penthouse Bar in Copenhagen.
