Global Ground Support awarded order from Southwest Airlines


Air T, Inc. announced that its subsidiary Global Ground Support, LLC was awarded an order from Southwest Airlines on March 10, 2016 in excess of $2.8 million for the supply of Global’s Provisioning trucks. The Provisioning trucks will be equipped with Global’s exclusive designed scissor-lift with two single stage hydraulic lift cylinders and payload capacity of 6,000 pounds.

As the sole supplier of Southwest Provisioning trucks since 2003, Global has delivered over 230 trucks and are delighted that Southwest Airlines continues to choose Global, year after year for their Provisioning truck needs.


Deliveries of the 35 trucks are expected to be completed this year.


Air T, through its subsidiaries, provides overnight air freight service to the express delivery industry, manufactures and sells aircraft deicers and other special purpose industrial equipment, and provides ground support equipment and facilities maintenance to airlines.
