BERLIN – Given the high quality of Turkey’s hotels, its friendly hosts, and its Mediterranean flair, Germania will be going ahead with a range of flights for tourists to the country in the summer of 2017. The airline with the green and white livery will be offering 29 weekly flights from numerous German airports to Antalya, Bodrum, and Alanya/Gazipasa.
New to this range of flights are Bremen, Dresden, and Nuremberg to Dalaman. This holiday region lies in the same geographical warm-weather zone as the Greek islands of Kos and Rhodes. There is an untouched natural paradise not far from the airport with citrus and pomegranate plantations, as well as the Lycian royal tombs, which are located high in the cliffs overlooking the water.
"Germania will remain loyal to Turkey", says Germania’s Sales Director, Claus Altenburg, of the company’s commitment. "Despite last year being somewhat patchy, we see no reason to cut and run here. Instead, we see numerous benefits to a pleasant, high-value and well-priced holiday to the Turkish Riviera and the Aegean Coast." With 300 days of sunshine a year, traditional Turkish cuisine, and a marvellous mix of turquoise-blue water, mysterious caves and historic treasures, visitors are invited to explore, enjoy, and relax.
In addition to holiday flights, Germania offers more connections to Turkey under the "Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR)" category. Destinations include Adana, Ankara, Edremit, Hatay, Kayseri, Malatya, and Zonguldak, while new routes include Dusseldorf-Adana, Munster-Osnabruck-Kayseri, and Nuremberg-Adana. In particular, families with members living across Europe can take advantage of this range of options. Furthermore, passengers have a baggage allowance of up to 25 kg on these routes.
