Comfortable Accommodations Land newly renamed Courtyard Chattanooga at Hamilton Place 2 major accolades
CHATTANOOGA, TENN. - It's full steam ahead for Courtyard Chattanooga at Hamilton Place, which has just changed its name and earned two prestigious honors from reputable travel websites.
The Chattanooga hotel – previously known as Courtyard Chattanooga I-75 – will officially commemorate its new moniker and awards with a celebration at 11 a.m. July 18, 2017. Members of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce will be present for a ribbon-cutting ceremony where light appetizers and drinks will be served. The public is encouraged to attend.
"Our new name better reflects the community we reside in, bringing plenty of pride and joy to our team and as well as to the neighborhood," said Rick Cadena, general manager of the hotel. "It gives us great pleasure to welcome our city officials and mark our 'rebirth' while also touting the national accolades we've received thanks to our past guests."
TripAdvisor, with 500 million reviews covering more than 7 million accommodations, restaurants and attractions in 49 countries, has just honored the Chattanooga hotel with a 2017 Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, now in its seventh year, takes into account the quality, quantity and frequency of guest opinions submitted over a 12-month period. To receive the award, the hotel near Interstate 75 and within walking distance of Hamilton Place maintained an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, had a required number of reviews and was listed on the site for at least 12 months.
Earlier this year, Booking.com presented Courtyard Chattanooga at Hamilton Place with its 2016 Guest Review Award. The global leader in connecting travelers with the widest choice of places to stay offers more than 110 million guest reviews. To be recognized with an award, hotels had to have an average review score of 8.0 based on at least 10 reviews through October 31, 2016. Guests were invited to rate their experience in six categories: cleanliness, comfort, location, facilities, staff and value for money.
