Crystal Esprit, the intimate luxury yacht of the Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises fleet, will return to the Adriatic and Mediterranean for the summer seasons of 2018 and 2019 for the region’s stunning summer months from May through October.

In 2018, Crystal Esprit will alternate weeklong itineraries sailing between Venice and Dubrovnik, with comprehensive exploration of Croatia without repeating ports, allowing travelers the choice to combine voyages for extended vacations. Beginning in 2019, Crystal Esprit will kick off her European summer with six-, seven- and eight-day voyages exploring Spain, France, Monaco and Italy before continuing on to the Greek Isles.

“Following the great success of Crystal Esprit’s 2016 and 2017 seasons in Europe, we are seeing tremendous enthusiasm and demand from guests to return to the region during the summer. The Adriatic is the quintessential summertime playground and is perfectly suited for the luxury yachting lifestyle that Crystal Esprit offers,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “The itineraries set for the next two years beautifully blend some of the region’s most famous locales with less visited and secluded spots, allowing travelers to indulge in the exclusivity of a Crystal yacht vacation while also exploring the dream destinations that top their bucket lists.”

In all, the newly unveiled routes aboard the all-suite, 62-guest, butler-serviced yacht strike a luxurious balance between historically and culturally significant metropolitan cities and remote, adventure-inspiring islands – many of which are only accessible by smaller vessels. All of the itineraries have been carefully crafted to heavily explore several destinations within one or two countries, allowing guests a more immersive cultural experience. Highlights of Crystal Esprit’s 2018 and 2019 Adriatic and Mediterranean seasons include:

2018 – Exploration of the Dalmatian Coast, with a strong focus on Croatian destinations. One seven-day itinerary features visits to Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, and Opatija, Croatia; Piran, Slovenia; and Kotor, Montenegro. The other itinerary calls in Venice, Italy; Rovinj, Sibenik, Trogir, Vis, Hvar, and Korçula, Croatia. The two voyages alternate weekly from May 6 through September 15, 2018.

2019 – A diverse roster of European itineraries along the Mediterranean is set to explore destinations both famed and less visited, including:

  • Spain and France, calling in Barcelona, Roses, Port Vendres, Cassis, Pempelonne Beach and St. Tropez
  • France, Italy and Monaco, calling in Nice, Monte Carlo, San Remo, Santa Margherita, Carrara, Calvi/Corsica, Cavalaire-sur-Mer and Cannes
  • Italy, calling in Civitavecchia/Rome, Capri, Lipari, Taormina/Sicily, Gallipoli, and visits to Kotor, Montenegro and Dubrovnik, Croatia
  • Greece, various options that offer intensive exploration of the Greek Isles, with calls to Corfu, Parga, Nydri/Lefkada, Corinth Canal, Hydra Nafplion, Athens/Piraeus, Delos, Mykonos, Paros Island, Patmos, Santorini, Chania, Neapolis, and Elefonisos.

Tailored to suit adventurous and active travelers, Crystal Esprit voyages all feature at least one complimentary Crystal Adventures shore excursion in every port, as well as a host of optional experiences that enhance the natural and cultural beauty of each destination. Additionally, guests can create their own adventures directly from the yacht’s private high-tech marina, fully equipped for kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and scuba diving.
